We are thrilled to announce that our proposal “The Nordic Biobank Network” has been awarded funding by NordForsk under the Nordic Research Infrastructure Hubs call.

The project is led by HUNT Research Centre, with Therese Haugdahl Nøst as Project Leader, and brings together 12 partners across six Nordic countries – a strong example of Nordic collaboration in research infrastructure.

This initiative will strengthen biobank operations, harmonize practices, and advance biobank-enabled research and innovation. With this support, we will improve access to high-quality samples and data, foster knowledge exchange, and build capacity for future health research.

A big thank you to all partners for making this possible! We look forward to working together to deliver lasting impact for science and society.
